Help me grade this 1870 3 cent nickel

    It is a very nice example of a 3 cent nickel and i would grade it as a MS-63. If it has more luster than the picture is showing, then i would say it would grade a 64. Overall a very nice coin!

    You got it right, PCGS gave it a 63.

    If not for the hairlines above the head, I'd guess 63/64. I would think they would 'net' grade it a 62.

    Nice three cent nickel. As a collector of these I agree with the Longacre doubling . Nice die clashes , very cool coin.

    Yep. PCGS got it right. Gifford 1870B03a. She is nice.
