help me grade this 1806 Half Cent...

    I recently purchased it and I was wondering
    what it would it be??? since the reverse "UNITED"
    is pretty weak....thanks!!!

    I think it would get a details grade. The color looks off and there a rounding and shinnyness that looks to be a polishing to me.

    well im probably not going to get it slabbed...
    since this coin only cost me about $30...
    I just wanted to know what it would grade...
    and maybe your right about the polishing/shiny-esque
    of it....but I mean other than that...the coin looks decent
    enough to be on a type collection...=)

    Actually I would ask if the coin really looks like the color in the pictures? The pictures make it look cleaned and yes I go along with vg details on the coin. And for fitting into a type collection - well all baby coppers and big coppers fit some where. Just finding the right home. :)

    im not really sure, we shall see when I post actual
    pics of the coin...the real reason why I bought it coz I liked it...
    it looked very nice...plus it has a low mintage...better date than
    the 1804 half cent...and also the price is very cheap...
