#18 is the best... I didn't vote for the coin I liked best.. I voted for the BEST PICTURE! That photo is superb, no question about it... #51 came in a very close second for me.

I liked #20 because I have that same Lincoln commemorative set and that dollar is such a well struck coin

Doggone it!! Why do so many people have to be so great at photographing?? For me, it came down to gbroke's and kryptonite's photos. Both have striking detail and vibrant colors. I decided on gbroke's based off the mere fact that it is an uncommon non-US coin!

    Thanks for the contest!

COOL! The thread is up....thanks Matt! I love this idea and hope to see more of these in the future. It's not so much about winning but it lets all of us enjoy some of the best amateur coin pics on the web IMO. Nice job people! There's some really awesome pictures to behold.

Well, looks like you have a hard decision to make. There are so many great photos, but from the poll so far, looks like it's down to four choices (each of which has gotten either 6 or 7 votes each so far): 18, 26, 43, and 44. Why not pick one of those?

Thanks for all your help guys!

I have just decided that the person with the most votes wins. I'll go back to the original contest thread to announce the winner.

    Thanks!
