help just learning has this coin been cleaned and what would it grade

    I found this wheat and it is alot nicer than any other 44 I have found. Thought maybe it had been cleaned.

    Unfortunately scans don't usually show color very well,but if it does have the pink color that I see in the scan then it surely has been cleaned.

    It looks like it was 'cleaned' (or exposed to harsh chemicals) long ago.
    There seems to be circulation wear and patina building back up on top of the past treatment.
    At least IMO... Your's may vary.
