I found this "Russian" gold coin in the collection. I don't know what it is. RussianGoldObv.jpg RussianGoldRev.jpg

There is a good amount of Mexican gold and British Sovereigns. Are these worth grading?

This is a 1976 restrike of a 1923 Chevronetz, or 10 roubles. See here. As for grading, I can’t say. I’m too poor to bother with gold.

I think grading is often a good idea with collectable gold bullion. Too many fakes, and few people are willing to take a chance

    You’re probably right.

As far as gold coins go, I normally don't have them graded unless I'm gonna sell them but that's just me. :D Instead I go to my LCS and I have them scan my gold coin with a hand held metals spectrometer and I take a pic of the scanner results along with my gold coin. That works for me! :singing:

Would love to give my 2 cents but you got to take better pictures...it really distracts...but hey we learned by trial and error? Nice coin by the way.
