Did you find it in change? Hard to see if there is any rub on it from wear?

 

Got it at a coin show. don't remember what I payed for it.

If it has rub (slight wear) on the coins high spots, I would say AU55 ish. If it has no wear, I would say MS61/62 ish. Hard to tell from the pics but that is my guess.

Without better pics of the spots I would give it AU details. to me they look like corrosion not crud.

So, in the norm are they acceptable, to mint state?

 

You can find a better example of that coin for not a lot of money.
