Question: has anyone ever run across a Quarter Notes piece in the wild? A circulation find? That would be interesting. A CoinStar reject bin find would be even more intriguing. Z
Some day that could/will likely happen. Someone's child will "borrow" a few quarters from mom or dad's collection. Someone will die and relatives going through the collection will assume they are damaged and spend them. It could take years, but I think it will happen. If CT is still around, someone will post a "strange stamped quarter." BTW, is there a list anywhere of all the examples to date? Steve
That's a good question- and suggestion. I have seen some (presumably partial?) lists in the Quarter Notes mailings in the past, but don't know if there's a master list anywhere.
And Zoid has been granted admission to the club! Eternal thanks to the QuarterMeister, I mean Quarter Master . . . . . I admit, the coded message on this one has me flummoxed. I keep picking my brain, but it's meaning is a bit fuzzy. My attempts at decoding it have not been very fruitful. I would like to cobbler together an appropriate guess, but the thought of being wrong has left me in the pits. Anyway, I know y'all are a lot smarter and can probably figure it out. My intent was to just thank @lordmarcovan and the Quarter Master for the kind gift and for lowering the bar enough to admit the Hamlet Squire of Tomfoolery . . . . Z

Too cool! Congrats! Some day, i can only hope to acquire enough wild silver and W mint mark quarters to even attract the QuarterMaster's attention !
Hello there QuarterMaster, In reading recent QuarterNotes letters, and trying not to be so obtuse, i realized i missed the entire point of all this. I won a "lot" of the quarters you so generously sent @lordmarcovan, and I've been holding on to them! Duh! I'll be releasing them into the wild, on Monday. That's usually my heaviest day, I'll see about $2,500 in quarters Monday, speeding by. These'll fit in nicely. My apologies it took so long to appreciate, and become a part of the mission. I feel a little foolish i was being selfish, and didn't realize this sooner, oops! I'm learning! Fondly, @CoinJockey73 *edit Which one isn't a QuarterNotes counter stamp? I WON'T be sending that one out, even though i fully support our second amendment rights. Oops, gave it away! The rest will be in circulation Monday.
Guessing Pennsylvania with "Gun Rights" is not the QuarterMaster's work. Nothing clever about it, just a statement. Steve
There's three reasons why that PA quarter isn't the work of the "Quartermaster." 1. Wrong font style. 2. The message is too straightforward. 3. Didn't you find that quarter a few months ago @CoinJockey73?
