I have sent emails to the Lamar county Chamber of Commerce and the historical society inquiring about the signature and past Chamber of Commerce presidents. Lamar County Chamber of Commerce issued 5 cent scrip. The signature looks like T. E. Belew. I found a Thomas Eugene Belew in the 1940 census residing in Paris, TX with an occupation listed as proprietor (unable to see the 1930 census). I haven't found anything on the Trust Officer signature which I think reads Monro Fleming. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
