I do believe this is a 1971 d,ddo i'll get a clearer picture of the split/notched serif of the "L" for you

 

Thank you. However, I don't see any markers listed; only photos of different areas of doubling on the coin. While I've not checked, CONECA likely has the markers listed for FS102.

I believe Non-Cents is speaking only of the 97-D. Also, on an 09, VDB should not be present on the bust.

 

The mint mark is in the wrong place on the '09-s. If it is an '09 at all, it's 100% not the S over horizontal S.
