Help 1909 S IHC verification

    I would be concerned that there are diamonds but no beads.

    I got it from a local coin dealer, which i trust greatly..... I just wanted a second opinion.....

    That looks like the right mark and placement (I just checked on it). The wear on the mark is in line with the F12-15 wear on the reverse and the absence of the pearls is consistent with the VG10 obverse. My opinion is it looks genuine.

    If you want a certified second opinion, send it to a major certification service. ANACS is good and relatively inexpensive.

    I think that it is genuine. The mint mark looks to be correct as well as the rest of the coin.

    Here is a Mint State example you can use for a comparison.
