He was an Unteroffizier in the 6. Infanterie Division, 12. Infanterie Brigade, Infanterie-Regiment</p><p>Großherzog Friedrich Franz II von Mecklenburg-Schwerin (4. Brandenburgisches) Nr. 24 [you can read the 24 on his shoulder], 11.
