    Your Copper plated zinc cent has a plating bubble over the 9. Damaged.

    The beginning of Zinc rot. Very common but it's damage to the coin. Spend it and welcome to CT.

    PMD, post mint damage, meaning it happened after leaving the mint, but then almost all of the lousy zincoln cents are damaged to begin with.
