Heavy convex or dented serial numbers. Are they consider error?.

    heavily convex or dented serial numbers on a note. Are they consider error?. If not, do they worth something?. Anyone. Thanks.

    No, they're not errors. It's called embossing, and it's a good thing, but a normal part of the process.

    The convex serial numbers were about 1/2mm above the plain note.

    Yes. So it is worthless.

    Maybe not worthless, but not worth anything over face value.
