Hello, I just purchased a Hearst Castle proof like coin or medal, that I thought was a real beauty for a great deal. I have been researching it but I can't find anything but long coins/tokens. I have not received it yet but attached some pictures.
I would like to know if others have this coin/medal or seen one like it. It looks to be silver and what it may be worth if anything. It's a nice looking piece. The seller just said nice looking Hearst Castle in good condition. Thanks, Steve

It's a privately minted round, but I don't have any other information aside from that.

Received the coin today and it is golden proof. Very nice looking for a private minted coin. Maybe it's gold that would be nice but either way I like it.

If it is indeed a precious metal round then it would either state its weight and/or purity somewhere on the design or would be marked with the information on the edge.

I hope you did not pay too much for this coin??? I live 45 minutes away from the Hurst Castle and can pick these up for a dollar a piece.

NOT a coin, that is minted by a valid governmental entity (eg the US mint).
This is simply a token or souvenir
