Beautiful coin! I've been pining for one of those for a while, but can't justify the expense at this point in my collecting career! Cilician obols rank high among my favorite small Greek silvers The only one with a positive ID - Datames / Arethusa This one probably depicts Artaxerxes III, the sitting Achaemenid emperor at the time And the unnamed / unattributable types Herakles / Aphrodite Herakles facing (note the lion's paws beneath the chin) and Aphrodite Unidentified satrap with goddess or his wife Possibly the same couple, the other set of mug shots My most unusual related coin is probably the last Janiform portrait, from early medieval pre-Islamic Chach
Ryro, You should take a wet Q-Tip to your Halikarnassos/Kindya drachm. Most of that dirt will lift right off and the coin will look nicer. You won't hurt the coin. Just a suggestion. Barry Murphy
