[QUOTE="TaborTot22, post: 1841325, member: 39398"]Well...interesting visit. Here's how it went: 1. I asked about the nickel...the lady took it to a grader but he wasn't sure because they "didn't deal with many variety coins". She looked up the fees to submit to NGC and if the coin costs less than $100, it would cost me about $50. :( I said no thanks. 2. They gave me comparable price to what my proof sets were selling for on ebay. But there was no extra for store credit. I asked about ASE and she told me that they pay $19.20 regardless of date. I said...so if I had 1996 or 1998 ASE, it would still be $19.20? She sad yes. :( I didn't sell my three 1997 ASEs. 3. They didn't have any 1909s vdb in stock so no upgrade for me. I did sell my proof sets and traded them for a 2011 & 2013 proof sets, and some cent and half dollar proof coins that I needed. It was a good experience but the lady kinda seemed like I was wasting her time. She wasn't rude but something about her demeanor was a little strange. However she didn't try to convince me to buy bullion or anything else. Overall, I give the trip a 7/10. Not sure I'll revisit anytime soon but it was a good experience.
