My feeling? I think they'd probably grade out just fine with the TPG'ers. I don't think they'd hold that (haze) against the coin and assign an appropriate grade based on the overall look of the coin. All the more reason for folks who buy these things (TPG coins) to buy the coin and not the holder.....
I agree Ken. The strikes of this year Proof ASEs are very good. Regardless of how the newer frosting of devices looks (grainier than those up to 2008) as long as they are flawless and other issues are not there, even with the haze, the coins may well grade high, though not appeal to some collectors due to haze. I hope that's the case so the coins are not trashed but I don't see most collectors wanting them, unless the haze turns into some sort of appealing tone later on down the road -and- if toning remains a popular area of collecting for those into toners in the future.
