I found this smartphone app that is great. It will enlarge the subject up to 7 times with each click and to top that there's a microscope feature built in. Thats super pictures! Called Cozy Magnifier and Microscope on the app store.
I use Cozy Magnifier and Microscope App also, it works very well, Photo taken with my LG Smartphone Example: Reverse of 2009 P Lincoln
It is not available for iOS. The app apparently has the same function as the normal camera as far as the zoom is concerned. I was hoping it would rectify the focusing/resolution issues often encountered with phone/tablet cameras, but it appears it is just a clone of the normal camera app that is default on the devices.
Sort of ok? I think it's good better than many plus it's a free App Full reverse with Cozy Magnifier and Microscope App also, just a quick picture
PCGS Many graders like 5 power, some like 8. PCGS will only use 10x or 15x, 20x if they are checking out some important variety issues on UNC or Proof coins. PCGS only uses a microscopes for counterfeit detection. This is what I always understood what they use.
Yeah......because you only captured part of the coin, unless it was your intent on capturing something small within that photog. Most folks want to see the whole......
Yes it was my intent to show what the App could do and the Cozy Magnifier and Microscope App does very good with full coin imaging and the capabilities of up close also. It took some getting used to before I got it right.
