Two years ago I won the Byzantine gold coin pictured below at a Heritage auction for $660.00, plus NYS tax & shipping, totaling $728.00. I have received 3 anonymous offers for this coin (rejecting the first 2 offers). The last offer was $1,050.00, minus a 10% fee Heritage charges for doing the transaction + shipping, bringing the actual offer to $930.00. It hardly seems worth it to me to sell this coin for a $200.00 profit after enjoying it for 2 years. What do CT members think about this transaction ?

About 8 years ago I won a Brazilian 20,000 reis gold coin at a Heritage auction that I thought was seriously under-graded at AU53, for $7,343.75. Two months later I got an offer via Heritage for $9,700 minus there !0% fee, bringing the actual offer to $8,730.00. I took the offer making nearly $1,400.00 on the transaction . Who ever ended up with the coin must have realized it was under-graded too .
