Have you reacquired a coin before?

    If you had sent it in to be placed in a new holder featuring the reverse, do you think you could've sold it for more? (Given the current craze for toned coins).

    I don't think it would have made a huge difference (maybe $15-$20, or around the same cost as the reholder service). I know some people can be very picky about the way the coin is positioned in the holder, but I believe most focus on the color (at least I do).

    If it had a star, it could have brought a bit more. And it was sold within the past few months. So, I'm not certain where some of the buyers are that pay the crazy prices (maybe they only stick to the auction venues, like GC/Legend/Heritage).
