Have you ever seen this before?

    I'm dumbfounded... I've not seen this one before? Damage? Mixing error?... like a woodie penny?

    can we get full pictures of the coin obverse and reverse looks like a vodo dudes bad hobo quarter those marks are scratches.

    That is the result of the plyo film mint packaging. Many of coins sweat in those sets and they end up looking like this.
    Here is a 70 S/S Lincoln I pulled from a 70 UC set.

    It really isn't considered toning it would more qualify under environmental damage.

    my post came in a little late it should've been above yours when you said it came from a mint set that-was reffering to when you said it came from a mint set.

    Yes its damaged a chemical reaction while it was in the packaging probably/ a problem that ruined some nice coins for decades
