    When I was a young man, in the 70's, there was a guy doing this at the local "Swap Meet" (flea market to other folks). He sold them as jewelry and mostly they were Kennedy's.

    Learned a new numismatic acronym this morning, thanks to Chris. I Googled PAF, "parallel arrow feathers." Bet I wasn't the only one who went, huh?

    A local coin shop once had some of these but they were Mercury dimes, some set in bezels others with soldered on loops to be worn as necklaces. This is the first time I've seen such large coins used. I think they'd make rather attractive Christmas ornaments.
