Today, the IKE Dollar coins are delivered in plastic bags but that wasn't how it was done when they were produced. The bag below used to be full. I've had others but no photo's and each bag was labeled as to which mint the coins inside originated from. This is true of the Morgan Dollars as well. I'm unsure about the Peace Dollars but it is important to remember that before the Corporate Coin Rolling Operations, dollar coins were shipped in 1,000 coin bags and labeled according to their contents for inventory purposes. Before 1964, EVERY Bank was required to have 90% Silver Dollars in inventory for when folks came in with the Silver Certificates which promised a Silver Dollar upon demand to the bearer of the note. Have I seen a bag of 90% Silver Dollars? Not in person that I recall but I cannot imagine those bags being any different than original bags of Eisenhower Dollars.
