Have you ever seen an actual bank bag of silver dollars?

On another road trip, stopped by Virginia City, NV and the Silver Queen saloon. The 15' tall portrait of Lady Luck is there, made of 3,261 silver dollars. It's a sight to see.

I think you are right. I couldn't figure it out either. We are getting some strange posts. People who like to bump for what reason, I don't know. Others who don't look at the date of the last response, etc, etc, .... When you ask them why they do this, they curtly reply. They don't concentrate enough on what was actually said or the purpose of the thread. I did this a few times myself when I was new. But if you ask or correct them, they take it personal, others just like to post for no reason at all.

It's surprising but although I have been in the hobby for a LONG time, and I have seen a lot of stuff, I don't believe I have ever seen an original bag of silver dollars. I've seen pictures, but not in person.

They dropped that promise off the note with the series of 1935. After that time it reads "one dollar in silver payable on demand", but it doesn't have to be a silver dollar.
