just putting "Uncirculated" to a new level, is "+++++" next, what shall we call that because I've seen a few on eBay and they put so many "+" on the 2x2 they fall off the edge.

I've noticed that "L@@K!!!" is not as popular in listing titles as it used to be.
I think the OP coin has been whizzed - it has that "broken glass" texture in the fields. I bet it's really shiny in hand.
I'm guessing it must mean S-mint but not sure. @Condor101?

Meticulously altered surfaces. Not something as produced by the mint.

I have a couple of Peace dollars with mirror surfaces you can shave with. I pay cull prices for them so I really don’t look them over much but curiously I can’t see the telltale polish/buff overhang of metal on any of the devices or lettering. I’d swear they look like they are chrome plated.

I thought it was something like that. Being from NYC I would call that Bronx proof like.

"California Prooflikes" where a thing that hit the market back in the early 70's. Most of them were Morgan dollars and when you first saw them they looked like incredible deep mirror ultra cameo prooflikes, mirrors to as much as 18 inches or more. At first sight they looked terrific. But what they actually were was someone came up with a way to polish the fields to a mirror finish and then the devices would be artificially frosted. I have seen two Peace dollars that have received this treatment. The last one I saw the dealer has it labeled "For Display only, Not for sale." I still tried to buy it though. Didn't get it.
