Have proof cents from 2000 been thoroughly checked for close AM reverse?

The theory is that SF asked Philly for more proof dies; Philly sent business dies by mistake, SF minted proof coins with the business dies, and Philly minted business coins with the proof dies.

    1998 - 2000 wide AM on business
    1998 - 1999 close AM on proof

It lines up perfectly except for 2000. So have the 2000 proofs been checked over well?

If this was a one time occurrence, why does it affect three years?

Why is 1999 so rare and 2000 so common?

I can't understand why they wouldn't use all the working dies in question in 1998. Why use so few of them in 1999 but use a lot more in 2000?

I suspect they don't exist or they would have been found. (edited my original comment because I didn't read fully and thought you were asking if 1998/99 close AMs could still be found by cherrypicking).

No 2000S close AM found "yet".

there were 3,082,572 clad and 965,421 silver proof sets minted in 2000.

best to get looking buddy! hhahahaha

Very well could be out there somewhere, you'd think people looked for them, but maybe not, at least not all 4 million sets of them.
