Can anybody tell me about the kneck on a bicentennial quarter? I have four that look like the kneck was not finished.
Huh? kneck (plural knecks) (Britain, nautical) The twisting of a rope or cable, as it is running out.
I'd say the neck was caused from intentional die abrasion . http://www.error-ref.com/thinning-and-loss-of-design-elements/
Lmao auto correct did that for me but thanks for the input. Was just wondering if they are worth anything more than what they already are.
Ahhhh!!! Now I understand the question..... I have a soft spot for bicentennial coinage. They helped to light my numismatic fuse as a youngster...... But, no. The mint quite literally produced these in the billions. They ran both 1975 and 1976. So they are as common of a coin as has ever been produced. Now matter how many buckets of them I stash, they likely will not be worth more than face value in our lifetime.

There's a lesson to be learnt here ... ALWAYS reread your posts. Especially if you use Voice to Text or have ANY type of spell check.
Jerry the necks on your quarters are obviously much different than on the ones I have...good find. < Bud likes your find
I would estimate that 75% or more of my posts get edited to correct typos, etc after I post them. Even then, I still don't catch them all.
