Are you missing the fact that you looked, and that could have been his goal from the very start?

 

He made you post his auction link and now x10 more people will see his coin. Very far from dumb in my book.

 

I'm not trying to be harsh, what I am more interested in is the coin. Why on earth is he asking that kind of price for it???

 

Put it up at a moon money price, see what's offered and learn its actual value.
