    Cleaned or not?????????

I would ask the seller and see what his response is on the issue. This is why i only buy proof sets or slabbed coins. Even then there is a little risk.

Thanks for the advise Speedy. I apreciate it. I think you do underscore a large part of the problem with ebay. The sellers take extra advantage of the buyers. Its my money and I expected the sale to happen without a problem according to my requests.

They don't want to do it according to my requests, as was agreed. OK. Then I'll keep my money.

If I was in his shoes, and I've done this in business BTW, I would have sent it 3 days ago and have put the $570.00 in my pocket.

I know it might be hard to understand because your young, but actually, $570.00 is not that much money. I occasionally spend more on a night out in Midtown for a date.

No seller has taken advantage of you....maybe if your from Brooklyn thats taking advantage but for most people tha is what is called...playing it safe.

Yes---I'm young and I'm sure I don't know much....but my point is that while $570 is just piddly to you to the seller it might be LOTS....so lets put it this way....(I hope 1 million is alot for you)....lets say you sold a coin for $1 million over ebay....and the buyer doesn't want to sign for it....now what do you think you would do...remember...that $1M is gone if he doesn't get it.

Your right....where I work, mowing lawns/working on computers/farm work for pay I can see how $570 is lots...I know that when I go out and get a better job I'm going to be making more than $15+ a lawn (maybe) and then maybe someday that won't seem like much.....but to most people that is a nice size bit of $$$....

I'm sorry you feel that way about the coin......

It the coin was $1,000,000 I would be requiring a lot more assurances, many of which would involve my lawyer, my bank, and a lot more insurance on transport than a return reciept and postal insurance ;)

I used to sell Bar Ilan CD's for $1700 a piece through the mail. I sent them priority mail, no signature unless the seller insisted on it.

I sold maybe 100 of them. None ever got lost.

I'm seen $5000, enviormentaly sensitive drugs drop shipped to patients without signatures. No matter how you slice it, its nothing and its a change in the auction agreement.

With your sharp mind, I doubt it is long in coming before you out earn me by multiples.
