To be fair to my initial post, you are picking the part where I talk about new members. A good portion is aimed at people starting threads complaining about how horrible their banks are, or how rude a teller was, or how their box was a dollar short. You are right nobody is forced to read any thread, but my point is was a fair one so I will repeat it. If you can be handle it when some old lady unknowingly deposits $200 worth of silver and you benefit from it, or when the teller is nice enough to save special coins for you, or you find free silver in the reject tube of a machine, then is it really necessary to have a fit about a bank not wanting to order boxes for you any longer, or not wanting to handle thousands of dollars of coin deposits from you any longer? Simply find a new bank. There are thousands of them. The bulk of our hobby is us getting lucky based on the ignorance (about silver/coin value) of others, and I don't see any threads started complaining about those poor people. So I am sorry if I don't feel bad when myself, or someone else has some tiny bank or coin issue. The good far outweighs the bad in this hobby, so I am simply saying post ALL DAY LONG about your great stories and finds. I love to read them. I just don't see the point in the other stuff.

And finally, I agree not everyone is I.T. competent. But if you are able to make an account on here and start a thread in order to ask questions, then I would think you are able to click on the results thread and read away. I spent months and months enjoying reading many of your posts and learned a lot by doing so. In fact the first post I ever made on here was complimenting the members and thanking them for such a great place and how much I had enjoyed watching how well many of you do with the hobby. I wouldn't be as into the hobby as I am now had I not found this board. So I guess it just irks me a little when I see someone's first post is a thread that sounds more like they are looking for answers on how to get rich quick coin roll hunting. People like that are making the hobby much harder for those of us who actually do it for fun.

Your point is taken, however, and my post was a generalization. Obviously every newbie does not fall into the category I was referencing.
