Just looked for the coin pics in that thread and found them. What's with Eliasberg coins always grading AU58? (mine too) --But seriously, they did a terrific job on your dime. I think yours looked nice with the tone, at least to the extent that it wasn't too distracting, not a blob of black crap right in a focal area. I guess it isn't too distracting on my coin either, unless looked at from a certain angle under certain lighting conditions, then its right there on the cheek. Ouch. Realistically, I'm probably not going to do anything for a while. Got too many irons in the fire. If I ever can make it to another large show that NGC is set-up at, I might have to bring it with me and see what they have to say. Or do those guys have blinds on at the show, and only after you deposit your 1% in the slot the blinders pop open and they can look at something?
I seen that movie,,,,The one i seen was made in the 40's,,,It was about a little old man that made 1 dollar notes that drove the secret service crazy and assigned one of there young agents to the case,,,,and this agent took a liking to the old man.....After he found him. He just made the money he needed to live on,,,,,,,I to for the life of me can't remember the name of the movie either. Well to get back to the topic.......I have sent about 10 or so coins to NCS and not once I was disapointed in there work...well i did send them two ngc slabbed coins and they told me that the coins don't need any conservation,,,I was hoping that they could make the two coins I sent them look as good as the other coins i had sent them in the past. I think NCS does a wonderful job and that there are to many people looking to knock down this service just because they don't have nothing better to say.
