Well I am in the majority as it seems...54 no where near Dead yet! I think that the reason you see so many men in this hobby at the 45 to almost Dead age group is because most men including myself have more disposable income now than when we were much younger! In the technology age, it is only the few young folks who are influenced into such a hobby as ours. Perhaps from their Parents or relative...who knows? How many replies to threads like in the Intro section have you seen that read like this: Starting collecting when I was 10, gave it up now I am 35 and have my Dad's coins...interested again... I think this hobby will remain focused on the 35-Dead age group for a very very long time....How many teenagers do you know who can plop down $500 bucks an up for a really nice coin? Needless to say $5000 for a excellent piece of Paper Money? Think about it, $500 for a Great Morgan, Gold bullion or $150 for a Ipod, Blackberry or Video Game player? I recently held a YN Contest and wanted to get a minimum of 15 players...man did that ever go bad! I had only 5 and the prizes I gave out were pretty nice...I too thought that many YN were here and would jump all over the essay! Man was I wrong! Congrats again to the 5 guy's who took the time to do it! RickieB
