@RonSanderson on your SEVENTIETH special day!
Does anyone have a PF70 or MS70 they can post?

Well, this is a surprise, but a nice one!
I don’t have any 70 grades (mostly stick with raw coins) but I do have some coins I can share. This is my birth year proof set, a gift from my mother a couple of years ago. These are in a Capitol plastic holder. They must have been in there for decades already, judging by the slight toning at the bottom edge of the dime, quarter, and half. A screw on the bottom of the holder must have loosened and let in a little air over the years.
An added bonus is that it keeps getting better - the more I look at comparables, the higher I grade these.
These have all been posted before, but what the heck! It’s my birthday!
Happy Birthday Ron.
That’s OK. I was 69 yesterday, after all. I just got upgraded to a 70.
Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes.
My wife and I are both working from home (I’m in software development; she’s an artist) so the quarantine is not a burden in our house. I hope that it does not affect any of you, either. If it should, let’s all hope it’s a light touch and moves on quickly.
I can no longer defer Social Security now that my 70th is here, even though I am still working.
You hear a lot about the wrong things, but here’s my take. The Government has enforced my saving 6.2% of my pre-tax salary with an employer match of another 6.2%. Yep, that’s 12.4%, altogether. So that is 1/8 of everything I’ve earned over the last 52 years.
And now I start getting it back!
Watch out coin auctions! Here I come!
Oh, wait, the bills just arrived...
completed 70, you're actually into 71 now!
What a coincidence ("coin"cidence), I've been informed that I have a loose screw, and it's usually when I'm speaking & let a little (hot) air out...
Beautiful specimens you have there, btw!
