I was 10. I watched it with my Great Grandfather 'til 2 or so in the morn when they walked out onto the surface. It was interesting. My Great Grandfather grew up with no electricty, no cars (horse and buggy), and here is is watching the moon landing with me. Wow. amazing change in HIS lifetime! Here are a couple coins with the MOON on it! Instead of an alter on the reverse, I think I see the Lunar Lander! Happy birthday Alexander I posted this on Forvm a few days ago - it's an online exhibition of coins of Alexander and other Hellenistic rulers from the collections of the Canterbury and Otago Museums as well as the University of Canterbury's James Logie Memorial Collection. I don't know a lot about Hellenistic coins myself so I don't know if there is anything particularly interesting pictured but they are at least nice coins! http://www.canterbury.ac.nz/exhibition/alexander/ NB a lot of the text links are broken but if you click on the pictures instead you will get to the right place
