Hammered coin

    need help on this one. got a few at the weekend but this one has me stumped.
    its very small at about 9 mm wide and weighs only.4 grams .
    any one with any info would be great.

    I believe it is a partial one of the early Venetian silver coins. The obv has a one of the Doges and the rev the Lion of St Mark. Don't have access to my books right now so I can't pin it down any better than that til later.

    how early are we talking . and thanks for taking the time to help me.
    i thought it was aztec or something like that.

    very close but the hands are way off. all so there is a star on the right hand side of the figure

    any idea of value. i see that its listed as common so i am guessing
    not much. but would like some idea . any one

    I can't find an example like yours that has sold, but similar soldinos from the same time period and common like yours only sell for a little over $100 even when they are slabbed in AU condition. So yours may be worth $25 or so.
