I wonder if the coins had been in there since the 70s... if only :)

Good luck Silver Tracker. I saw what could be a silver edge on one coin! Hope there’s many more in there!

I think this is going to be a good play. But I assume they don't want the coins back when you are done with them. Is your basic strategy to use a second dump bank for the rejects?

Michael makes a good point. Recommend that you don’t return the searched coins to the same branch. Even better if you can return them to a different bank altogether if you have more than one. This will keep your supply tellers happy!

So true. My one CU has a coin machine but there are multiple locations to dump it.

Why you gotta hate on silver searchers? ;)
I think you will be happy with that bag, there are a few halfs that have that special look to them! I'm excited to hear what you find.

Possibly some of the best finds will be in grade. if you are gonna search the bag, check for a grade also.
There, is way more to roll hunting than finding silver,

I finished the bag last night and found no silver, which is what i was after.

I did see a few scratched up proof halves but nothing to keep. Oh well until the next bag which will be a $ 500 bag from a different CU.

Even scratched I think the S halves are worth keeping because of the low mintage.
    Too bad about the silver.

Yes, bummer about no silver. No NIFCs or 1974-D DDOs either? Hope the next bag is a success!
