I can't remember the entire list of coins that will be needed to complete my theme set of Hadrian denarii commemorating his visits to the provinces, but where I can afford them, I still try to pick up the ones that I don't have. I recently added these two to the collection. GERMANIA HADRIAN Denarius 3.38g, 17.3mm Rome mint, AD 134-138 RIC 302 var (bust type) O: HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, bare-headed and draped bust right. R: GERMANIA, Germania standing facing, head right, holding vertical spear in right hand and resting left on shield set on ground. ASIA HADRIAN Denarius 3.48g, 17.8mm Rome mint, AD 134-138 RIC II 301a O: HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, bare head right. R: AS-IA, Asia standing left, right foot on prow, holding hook in right hand and rudder over left shoulder. Please feel free to share your Hadrian 'travel series' examples! I know at least one member here has Alexandria, which I've had no luck acquiring yet.
Very nice, I would like to assemble a set for some reason but most are expensive and the few bargains that do get listed get zapped pretty quick.

There does seem to be something different about it that I can't quite place, but it doesn't scream 'eastern' to me. You would know better than me though . Btw, I love your Alexandria!
I'm likely going to try to complete the Travel Series in a variety of bronze/silver/gold, but at the moment, have two denarii:
