Nice work, DrHenley! The cracks around the rim may not be damage. The coins were not struck in a collar, so you frequently find little cracks where the metal flow caused the flan to separate during striking. Weight was the important consideration in denarii, not necessarily neat edges.

I just realized something, I have around three dozen ancient coins, and I didn't buy a single one! I know, kind of sad.
