However, Louis was able to sign the "Treaty of Picquigny" in 1475 to formally end the War that started in 1437. Even better news for Louis, Charles ended up getting clobbered at Nancy by the Swiss. Charles ended up sliced and diced, thus ending the Burgundian rule of the Low Countries.
