    Less than $40...condition is really rough, someone is probably just going to try to grab it for bullion value, not really collectable value

    Anyway, I'm kind of amazed that this damaged coin sold for that amount...

    I agree. I think most collectors are too hard on damaged coins, but owning this poor thing would be very depressing. This is one of the rare cases that I don't think I would wish to own her at any price, just for the bad feelings I would have every time I glanced at her.

    75.50 is my guess unless you said that all of the dings were some sort of rare mint damage than you better add a few zeros to my guess.

    But guess what... no payment yet. I wonder if this buyer will be one of my 4% that win a coin and never pay? If so, you'll see it on eBay again soon. :desk:
