Guess the year of this Lincoln cent

Found this in a CWR today. Any guesses on the year? I am stumped. Is it PMD?

Looks like a 1976 to me. Just has a hit on the seven to my eye. Are you attempting to set aside copper cents, or was it just curiosity that led you to ask?

I'm guessing a 76 too but the reverse would help seal the deal for me.

It's a 1976 with damage.

 

Seems so obvious, I'm trying to figure out what prompted the OP question. I mean, what else could it be except a 1976?

 

This was for fun....it was an interesting coin. Couldn't have been anything else obviously
