What are you using as a base price? This coin has a plus designation as well as attractive toning. The NGC price guides are:

    MS64: $290
    MS64+: $350
    MS65$: $550

I'm gonna say (without seeing the reverse) that the coin sold for MS65 money $550.

I'm inclined to think it wouldn't go over MS64 with that hit on the chin. Even so, I think Paul's estimate of $550 is pretty close.

I think I wanna lower my guess. I didn't see the reverse when I first responded. For some reason only the obverse photo was showing up on my computer. After seeing the reverse strike, I don't think the premium would go much higher than $400. My original thought was that this coin would look ok in an MS65 holder. After seeing the reverse, I have changed my mind. I think the toning is nice but nothing that is going to drive a huge premium.

I'll stay with the $550 because of the +* designation.

Great color, but there are SOO many Morgans with great color.

I say 1.25x of the 64+ pricing. Seems a bit chewed on for the plus grade.

I would have paid a premium of 50 Dollars for this kind of toning.

I'm really sorry for the late response. I paid about $500 for the coin with shipping and taxes included. lf-3.png

So, approx. 50% premium? NGC has a price of $350 next to the slab.

About what I expected. I didn't get a chance to read the thread before, but I was going to say $475-500. It has nice toning, in a rather typical textile pattern. Those do command a premium, and I think it to be a very attractive coin.
