I believe that @JCro57 has a wheat cent with some gold inclusions. Or, a gold toned/color inclusion. I have seen a few of these in hand. Very neat but not something I would pay up for. I wish I was around when these were found in circulation in VF and above. I would have stacked as many as I could find. One does have to remember that variety's werent really collected pre 70's. They were seen as a defect as, they were not as the mint intended. Most were discarded back into circulation. The 35 Buffalo above may look a little brown in the photo above is actually red in hand. Here is another just not as dramatic. We are getting there. I think it has already started in the south. Seriously though if you haven't noticed. We try and do our best as a community to teach numismatics some threads go nowhere then all of a sudden it gets a little burst. In the past year I have seen threads from 08' pop up in either the following or new posts. when you start a thread it never dies. Well some do. But others are just hibernating.
