That's a tough break. I can't grade Peace dollars accurately at all. Blazers I've sent off came back AU55. I do have a question though. Can't you submit the slab for resubmission without cracking it out? I'm not 100% but I think ANACS gives you the option of having it regraded based on your minimum grade you will accept for reslabbing. (I believe this is true). I've been told that the coins are cracked out by one group then passes it on to the grader, so the grader doesn't have preexisting bias. If it comes back higher, fine, reslab with new grade. If not, reslab with the existing grade it arrived with. I have no idea how PCGS handles this.
