Guess The Grade: PCGS 1934 Washington Quarter

    I think the strike and luster are too weak for MS66; my guess is MS65. I do love the color.

    Pretty toning but it is not that high of a grade. Strike and spots will hold it down. 64 or 65 so I will say 64+

    That is a lot of color for a 1934 WQ and it's the Light Motto as well. It looks really nice.

    My initial reaction to the photos was MS64, but I really like the color and associated eye appeal so I bumped it to MS65.

    Those scratches on the neck did not help either, but all in all, I was stuck in between.

    I can't tell if what I'm seeing is weak strike or wear, so I'm gonna call it AU64. :p Seriously, either AU58 or MS64. The strike is clearly pretty mushy overall, but I can't tell if the high points are slightly worn or just weak.
