    well.....

well.....I visit here to see things I can't see elsewhere.

The SBA has a unique/brief location in coinage. I felt for her immediate resemblance to the action of a committee. Many "Two Bit" jokes were devised because of her stern jaw.

She just could not shake the resemblance to a quarter, could she?

It was nice to think she was so honored one way but neglected by being portrayed another.

I'm in late but the coin looks like really nice. I would say MS64 is a reasonable grade for it. I didn't realize that an 80D SBA would go for $150 in MS64. Perhaps my 1980 mint sets are worth more than I thought.

Does anybody think this will drop in grade being crossed over to another grading company??

Man, I'm so glad "common as dirt" doesn't post here anymore...I for don't think it crossed as a PL, it has the potential, but NGC is very strict handing out PL designations, there can be no doubt on either side.

I hope for the OP's sake it did, maybe there will be an update.

Likely not. I have been reading that people don't want to use ANACS because they can get a better grade elsewhere. I forget the thread, but someone mentioned he was cautioned against using ANACS because he would get lower grading and hence a lower value for his stuff.
    for a
Even Doug told us that dealers using the ANACS sales might "get what they pay for". I took that to mean a grade that might not be a profitable for a seller or reseller ? To me that is saying ANACS grades tougher.

Physic's Fan I just picked up a Sac in PL out of a dealers junk bin. I assume it came out of a coin and currency set cause it's in a 2000D holder. 66PL :D

Nah, I'm retired so I don't wear a watch or look at a calendar. I measure the passing of time by sunrises and sunsets. Except for Sunday when there's FOOTBALL !!!! Sun___DAY !!
