This reminds me of another Morgan toner GTG where the GreatCollections images looked vastly different from the TrueViews.
If it's the one from below, then that was mine. The GC photos were a better representation of the in hand look of the hits. It graded MS 65 and got a sticker. My personal grade was 64.
TPGs seem to grade coins more by the universe of survivors than a consistent numismatic standard. I doubt we would ever see a Washington quarter grade a 65+ with that much obverse damage. Perhaps this is a case of gradeflation for a good customer...who knows.
How that got that grade was beyond me. And I think it got the cac sticker on office Christmas party day after way too much spiked eggnog
