For the newbies, this is a rolling average of the last 50 rounds. You must have 20 rounds to be included in the top. After 20 guesses (of the latest 50), your highest score is dropped from your average and you second highest score is dropped when you exceed 30. The only purpose of these is to help people learn grading and to have fun.
MS-64. Significant marks on cheek and bust of lincoln, with chatter on his shoulder. Huge ding on the T, lots of chatter under the stalks. Could even be 63, but I think the clearer fields on the obverse got him a 64.
In order for nicks to count against a coin, you have to be able to see them. Remember, these pictures are about 10X (on my computer, anyway)) before they are enlarged. i.e none of those nicks on the obverse are visible to the naked eye (as graders do it). I can just make out one on the reverse. Strike is dead solid. The luster is solid but not quite the blooming luster on most 67 coins. With PCGS, my guess would have been a 66+, but PCGS gave it a 67.

This one did it to everyone, but it hit you bad because you only have 28. Therefor, you only have one mulligan. If you get to 31 (out of the last 50), your score will drop.
They will be the old small slabs. They are well graded generally. Actually, I only have 2 of the newer ones. One is a silver dollar graded, but has been over-dipped. The other I have put up here and nearly everyone guessed higher than ANACS graded it.
That one fooled me. Didn't see the luster I thought it needed. PCGS is really picky on giving the 67 grade. Not sure of the age of the slab but maybe the luster mellowed a bit over time.
Must have strong luster, a couple field hits on the reverse and the weakness in the right wheat is why I voted 66.
