Miss 2 and go up in the ranks , go figure . I knew most of the marks were on the slab , but thought there were some on the coins obverse like near the T in Trust . 67 never entered my mind . Dick your hint was correct , no coin over 68 .
[/quote] I wish this pic was used with the other pic . With the grade removed of coarse , just an idea . I meant to copy the pic with the grade ,
FALLING like a rock. This one just didn't give me the wow feeling I need to go 67 or higher. The top part of the reverse in specifically.... look like the luster was a bit muted, and the "PL" in pluribus and "O" in one appear to lack strike pop. Not that an opine from the pits means that much ; )
That's mark_h0 to you sir! I can see this coin as a 67. NGC is all over the map from 66 to 67, I think they roll the dice, 4 sides show 66 and two sides show 67! I think I'm about 40% correct with NGC between these grades. I should start tracking it in Excel, a column for NGC and one for PCGS. I believe I must be about 70-80% with PCGS.
If that's a 63 , I'll take all you have . Remember that the pic is 10X or greater and makes every mark look huge , plus on the O of one those are planchett marks and wont affect the grade . rlmscents has these every Wednesday and Sat . C'mon and join the fun .
