It&#039;s not so much that I won&#039;t accept TPG standards, but that is true in some cases. In others it isn&#039;t, or at least it didn&#039;t used to be. I was, and still am, a great fan of the TPGs. They have IMO done more good for this hobby than any other group or individual could even think about. </p><p><br /></p><p>Where I really get into a problem with them is when they refuse to follow their own standards. You see, I guess I require consistency. Even more, I think the hobby, all of us, deserve a level of consistency. And over the past 5 to 6 years the TPGs have not given it to us. To me they have betrayed the trust that was given to them. Too many people have gotten to the point that they just blindly accept the grades assigned by them.</p><p><br /></p><p>And the TPGs need to be called on it. Over-gtrading needs to be pointed out. People need to be educated, taught again to trust their own eyes. To question the grade assigned when your own knowledge tells you it is not deserved.</p><p><br /></p><p>Try reading David Halls speech given when the TPGs were new.
